Respect for the Elderly Week Event

March 18-24 Respect for the Elderly Week: "Generations Meet"

Balıkesir University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Gerontology, is hosting meaningful events as part of Respect for the Elderly Week. Students from the 60+ Renewal University Balıkesir Campus, who began their education two weeks ago, will meet with younger generations during this special week to strengthen intergenerational solidarity. The events include a theatrical performance by students from Balıkesir Karesi Middle School, as well as mental and physical exercises conducted by the school's "Building Intergenerational Connections Through Brain Exercises" project team with the Renewal University students. Furthermore, games and active activities organized by the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Student Community will bring generations together, sharing active and enjoyable moments.
