Balıkesir 60+ Freshening University was Held in the Workshop of Freshening Universities

In the patronages of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Çanakkale Onsekiz hosted the University of March, 26–28 October 2026 “Taze University Programs Workshop of Systematic Bringing and Institutionalization” was held.

Organized with the participation of representatives from different universities of Turkey, the University of Balıkesir, the Coordinator of the University of Freshening of Turkey Dr. Öğr. The member represented our university by participating in Aslı Gözde Flow.

In the workshop, the strengthening of the corporate structure of the programs of Freshening Universities were evaluated, the development of educational activities, the provision of sustainability and increasing the business unity between universities. In addition, opinions and recommendations for the development of existing applications and the development of programs in a more systematic structure across the country were shared.

The workshop carried out in the framework of lifelong learning and active ageing approach was important for the development of common approaches for the future of Freshening Universities and strengthening the sharing of experience between institutions.

Balıkesir University 60+ Freshening University continues to contribute to active and healthy aging with its educational and social activities that support the participation of older individuals to lifelong learning processes.
